Senaida Ng
Founder & CEO

Toronto-born, Senaida Ng, is an independent artist, sound architect, and futurist. Classically trained in piano, she has performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City and is a two-time national finalist of the Canadian Music Competition and has received 2nd place at the International Elite Music Competition. In 2019, she founded the Youth Showcase Concert Series, an annual summer music festival that promotes local artists and bands under the age of 25. She is currently studying at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music at the Tisch School for the Arts, where she is a recipient of the Tisch Scholarship and was recently recognized as the 1,000 Dreams Fund ElevateHer Rising Dreamer of the Year. She has released two EPs under her artist project and is currently working on her first full-length NFT album, “The Nothing In Between."

Wilson Huang
COO

Wilson Huang is cross-enrolling at Babson College and the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing entrepreneurship and neuroscience. He has built startups in the fields of education, film production, SaaS, and neuromarketing over the past four years. Wilson has consulted for BSE Global. Additionally, he has received awards and certificates from MIT, Babson College, and Microsoft.

Toby Masick
CCO

Toby Masick is a producer, entrepreneur, and current student at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. He has worked with a artists such as Soulja Boy, Trippie Redd, Yeat, and continues to work with a network of producers and artists internationally. He released his debut producer compilation album in 2020 titled "mXX4L" and has uploaded hundreds of beats to YouTube for artists to lease amassing over 2,000,000 views.

Reem Alsanea
Lead Designer

Reem Alsanea holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from Boston University. As a designer, her background includes experience at corporate, agency, and freelance firms, as well as lead roles on projects involving UI/UX, print, interactive, and digital design. She is passionate about human-centered design and designing solutions that put people first.

Keru Wang
Software Engineer

Keru Wang is an NYU undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and Interactive Media Arts. She is currently a student researcher in NYU Future Reality Lab and a research intern in MIT Media Lab. She is interested in computer graphics, Human-Computer Interaction, VR/AR, and installation arts.

Emma Patz
Marketing Coordinator

Emma Patz is so excited to join the MiSynth team as the Marketing Coordinator, as she has a deep love and passion for music. Some of her favorite artists are Mac Miller, SZA and Frank Ocean! Emma is originally from Needham, MA, but is now a junior at NYU majoring in media, culture and communication and minoring in the business of entertainment, media and technology. This past summer, Emma participated in a competitive internship at Mosaic Media Group in Beverly Hills, CA, where she read the screenplays of potential clients to provide feedback for managers, and assisted with various aspects of the talent management process. Other companies that Emma has interned for include Paerpay in Boston, MA, and Find Your ID NYC in New York, NY. When Emma is not in school or working, she can be found training for the 2021 TCS NYC Marathon, or exploring the city with friends.

Jackson Waters
Marketing Analyst

Jackson A. Waters is an award-winning concert and film composer originating from Los Angeles. At 16, he was selected to be the youngest composer-in-residence at the Oregon Bach Festival. Jackson also earned commissions from the Colburn Conservatory’s Concert Orchestra, professional choirs, and dance companies before entering college. Jackson has also scored award-winning short films. He has been interviewed by VoyageLA Magazine on his new projects including an algorithm turning words into musical melodies as well as his up and coming musical works. Jackson is also a co-host with Senaida on WNYU 89.1 FM's first radio show featuring classical and contemporary music.

Sinem Erisken
Research Consultant

Sinem received her Bachelor's and Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She did her doctoral work in Germany at the University of Tuebingen, where she studied the effects of locomotion and feedback on early visual processing.

Errol Kolosine
Advisor

After playing in bands and obsessing over music throughout his youth, Kolosine began his career in the music business in college radio, where he was Music Director, as well as local music producer and engineer, for WVFS in Tallahassee, FL. He also earned degrees in Political Science and English at Florida State University, and served a stint in Florida state government working in the areas of Press, Scheduling and Communication.

Elena Georgieva
Advisor

Elena is a PhD student and researcher at New York University's Music and Audio Research Lab (MARL). Before joining MARL, she taught sound recording and managed the recording studio at Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA), where she completed her M.A. degree in 2019. She works on research projects related to music information retrieval, sound recording, and vocal expression.
